Today I seriously need to take a pause.

I need to slowly, yes very slowly let go because my kids are growing up. It is not easy though.

Not an easy pill to swallow, if I could wrap them in bubble wrap I would. Trust me.

We up at 4am to have our son at school at 5am. Early start to our day, our son Ethan is leaving for his Grade 7 tour with the school, for a week. Yes a whole week. He can’t take his cellphone along so yes I am a complete mess. Ethan says to me, mommy please don’t cry in front of everyone. I respond, I will talk to my tears to behave..🤩🤣

The minute I get in the car, I cry. Yes like a baby.. A mother’s cry. When it comes to my kids, I am such a cry baby😥 I am feeling anxious, worried and lost. Feels like I’ve lost something, like I misplaced something, know that feeling??

So when I say it’s going to be a loooonnnnnnng week, I mean it.

Being a mom is not easy, all the phases and stages we go through is a lot. But we keep going.

I have been having a lot of those moments lately. No one to support me or help out or offer a shoulder to cry on. Being a parent is tough!

This is so true. I have seen this scenario a lot of times and I fear it to happen to me personally. I guess no matter how much we try we still cry when it’s time to let go. The reality is — they just grow up so fast.
